Innovid API version 3 is currently supported

A Guide for getting data from Innovid to Rivery.

Prerequisites

An Innovid connection.

How to pull data from Innovid using Rivery

First, select 'Create New River ' from the top right of the Rivery screen.

Choose 'Data Source to Target' as your river type.

In the 'General Info' tab, name your river, describe it and choose a group. Next, navigate to the 'Source' tab.

Find Innovid in the list of data sources and select it. (under Marketing)

Under Source Connection, select the connection you created, or create a new one.

Choose a Report - either Delivery or Viewability.

Choose the Client to pull data for.

Choose which Advertisers to get data for. You can choose multiple or leave the box empty to select all.

Reports' Time Period:

Select the time period of the report.

The reports support two kinds of time period:

1. Date Range -

   • Pulls data in the date range between the start and end date provided, including the end date.
   • You must select a start date.
   • Leaving the end date empty will pull data according to the current time of the river's run.
   • Use the "Last Days Back For Each Run" to expend the start date and pull data x days back before the chosen start date.

2. Predefined date - A date range defined by Rivery:

   • Day - Yesterday.
   • Week (From Monday to Sunday) - Week to date, Previous week, Previous week to date.
   • Month - Month to date, Previous month, Previous month to date.
   • Year - Year to date.

Important Notes

Limit on amount of data in a single run

Due to Innovid's limits, there's a cap on how much data you can pull in a single river run.
Asking for too much data will result in an error message with a proper message.
In this case, you would need to either select less advertisers, or a smaller time frame.
As a rule of thumb, you can pull up to 120 days of data in total (if you select 2 advertisers you can pull up to 60 days for each, if you select 4 you can pull up to 30 days for each, etc.)

Innovid's Data Availability

The data is aggregated in Eastern Time Zone. In most cases, the previous day’s data is fully aggregated by 6.00 AM ETZ.
In cases in where data is pulled on a daily basis, it is recommended to request data for the last two days in order to ensure data completeness.
* You can use Rivery's "Last Days Back" input to easily achieve Innovid's recommendation.
