Intercom (via Actions)

Integrates with:
Intercom is a messaging platform that allows businesses to communicate with prospective and existing customers within their app, on their website, through social media, or via email.

This kit includes

A Rivery Action configured to call Intercom API endpoints:

-Data source to target rivers to ingest this data into Snowflake.

-A connection called ‘Intercom – from Kits’ that stores the Intercom API key.

The combination of the custom source and the data ingestion river results in four output tables, called ‘intercom_list_all_contacts’, ‘intercom_list_all_companies’, ‘intercom_list_all_conversations’, and ’intercom_list_all_segments’.

Minimum RPU Consumption: 4

Configuring this kit for use

Variables

In this kit, there are two variables used to make dynamic use of target configuration.

{db_intercom} is used in all Target configurations as the target Database name, {schema_intercom} is used in all Target configurations as the target schema.

Go to the Variables menu on the left side navigation bar and create a variable called db_intercom. Then fill in the value as Snowflake’s database where you would like the data to land. Repeat this action and create another variable called schema_intercom, Then fill in the value as Snowflake’s schema where you would like the data to be associated to.

Connections

Kits are imported with ‘blank’ source and target connections. In order to use the kit, you have two options: Swap out blank connections with existing connections or add credentials to the blank connections that come with the imported template
