The Netsuite Income statement Kit combines data from 10 popular Netsuite ODBC reporting entities and outputs a table representing a generic income statement for your organization. Due to the nature of the Netsuite source, this Kit is intended to be a starting point for more customized report creation and specific reporting.

This kit includes

Data ingestion rivers for for the following entities:

  • Transactions

  • Transaction Lines

  • Accounts

  • Subsidiaries

  • Companies

  • Departments

  • Employees

  • Accounting Periods

  • Entity

  • Vendors

  • Logic that joins these entities together to recover values for total income across all customers and channels and accounts.

Configuring this kit for use

In this Kit, there are two variables that are used to make for dynamic use of target configuration. {db_netsuite_odbc} is used in all Target configurations and queries as the target database name. {schema_netsuite_odbc} is used in all Target configurations and queries as the target schema name. Go to the Variables menu on the left side navigation bar and create variables for db_netsuite and schema_netsuite. Then fill in the values as the Snowflake database and schema where you would like the data to land.

Kits are imported with ‘blank’ source and target connections. In order to use the kit, you have two options: Swap out blank connections with existing connections Add credentials to the blank connections that come with the imported Kit
