BI Engineer
About The Position

We are looking for an experienced BI Engineer to join our Finance & Operations department.
In this role you will
- Effectively collaborate with our leadership team, product managers, sales and marketing teams, and other stakeholders to scope scalable data infrastructure and analysis approaches to complex business questions.
- Develop and optimize ELT/ETL workflows to power business and product analyses based on multiple data sources.
- Build compelling data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to serve data-driven decision-making processes.
- Create reports, dashboards, responses to ad hoc requests, forecasts, etc. utilizing our data warehouse and other sources of data.
- Be a one-person show and collaborate with our data analyst for fast delivery.
- Bring in industry best-practices to help pursue the goal of becoming a data-driven company.
Required skills
- 4+ years experience in a technical role as a BI Engineer or data lead in SaaS company, in an internal BI function.
- Proven hands-on experience in developing data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Strong command of SaaS metrics like ARR, net retention, funnel conversion rates, etc.
- Proven experience working with Tableau to create compelling visualizations.
- Experience with writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehouse implementation, and maintenance.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including go-to-market and more technical teams.
- Experience training end-users, rolling out new products, and driving them to full adoption.
- Proven record of merging multiple data sources to develop a single source of truth for reporting needs.
- A self-learning, self-starter attitude with an enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented start-up environment.
- A passion for analytics and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent project and task management skills.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew - high-level written and verbal communication skills.
