Data Analytics

Data analytics is the process of investigating, cleaning, transforming, and modeling data to uncover useful insights and inform decision-making.

Data analytics leverages raw data to illuminate trends, reveal metrics, and generate data analysis. For companies, data analytics helps increase operational efficiency and improve performance by discovering patterns and buttressing predictions with data.

While the term has broad applications, data analytics has several specific subtypes, including descriptive analytics, diagnostic analytics, and predictive analytics. Data analytics is used in a wide range of fields and is applicable to a diverse range of projects.
